The Champion of women's rights and the youngest ever Chairperson to preside over Delhi Commission for Women, Swati Maliwal rejected a corporate career as an Engineer to embrace activism and help people in need. She has successfully completed 5 years at the DCW. From working with NGOs, teaching underprivileged children, tackling women and child trafficking, to spearheading #RapeRoko movement, Swati has treaded the tropes of bureaucracy with a mighty resolve to never take “no” for an answer. In the exclusive live interview with Feministaa, she shares how the Delhi Commission for women barely took on one case in eight years and after she took over, the organization has taken over more than 55,000 cases.
